Air Jordan 4 "Columbia"

Remastered Air Jordan 4 Retro ‘Columbia’

posted in: Pure News | 0

Quite honestly, we’ve already seen the returning ‘Columbia’ Air Jordan 4 Retro in as good quality as we will ahead of its 2015 release. However, it doesn’t hurt to check in with the leaks to see how things are coming along.

Originally released in 1999, the ‘Columbia’ 4 will be one of the first Jordan retros in ‘remastered’ quality. As we reported back in June, this means Jordan Brand is planning on getting as close as possible to the originals, with premium material selection.

These new shots don’t exactly highlight the quality, but it does give us another chance to discuss the highly anticipated release. If the early release guys are already getting their hands on them, does this mean early releases will deliver the same quality? Check out the flicks and share your thoughts with us below.

A Detailed Look at the Air Jordan XX9 “Team Orange”

We’re only a couple of short weeks away from the launch of the Air Jordan XX9, the latest mainline entry for the tremendously long Air Jordan series. You’ll remember from the initial images that debuted at the shoe’s media launch back in April that there have been two separate builds spotted, both of which will show up on September 6th, 2014. This time we’re zooming in on the Air Jordan XX9 in black and team orange – that’s the one with the jumbo Jumpman branding across the side and the more covert elephant print touches.

The Tinker Hatfield-designed Air Jordan 29 is very much a performance shoe, but that doesn’t mean that they won’t show up in more casual settings in the future. Giving you a good idea of how they’ll look in that context is the above shot, which shows the shoe’s prowess when paired with jeans. Continue reading for a detailed gallery on the upcoming Air Jordan XX9 and tell us in the comments if you’re planning to pick up a pair for purposes of performance or otherwise.

The Drake vs Lil Wayne Air Jordan 3s aren’t the only special pair that Drizzy has been given access to as of late. Shown here are some teaser shots from Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda video, in which Drake wears a never before seen pair of the Air Jordan III and Nicki Minaj wears…barely anything. It’s not quite clear what’s going on with this new colorway, but the graphic on the upper almost looks like that “Fractal Elephant Print” one that we saw introduced on the Air Jordan XX8. Air Jordan 6 “First Championship”

Does this Air Jordan 6 look familiar? The pair has quite a bit of overlap with the Tim Howard Air Jordan 6, although this pair lacks the reflective 3M upper of that one. This time around there’s a clean white leather treatment on the top, and the shoe in question is apparently intended as a celebration of MJ’s first championship in these sneakers.
